Chinese Herbal Medicine
Chinese herbal medicine attempt to prevent and treat imbalances, such as those caused by cancer and other diseases, with complex combinations of herbs, minerals, and plant extracts that allows the body to restore or strengthen immunity and be more resistance to disease
 
Chinese Food Therapy

Using food as medicine or you will eat your medicine as your food.

Nutrition and dietary therapy is an essential aspect of Chinese medicine. The Chinese have known for thousands of years the direct correlation between what we eat and our health. Even before the development of acupuncture and Chinese herbs, foods were used by traditional peoples to heal diseases and build immunity.  The Chinese medicine model of nutritional therapy, or using foods.

 

Tui Na

Tui Na uses rhythmic compression along energy channels of the body, as well as a variety of techniques that manipulate and lubricate the joints. Like acupressure, Tui Na directly affects the flow of energy by holding and pressing the body at acupressure points.

One of Tui Na’s advantages over simple massage is its ability to focus on specific problems, especially chronic pain associated with the muscles, joints, and skeletal system. It’s especially effective for joint pain (such as arthritis), sciatica, muscle spasms, and pain in the back, neck, and shoulders. It also helps chronic conditions such as insomnia, constipation, headaches (including migraines), and the tension associated with stress.

 

Cupping

Glass cups are placed on the skin to create suction.  The suction of the cups mobilizes blood flow to promote the healing of a broad range of medical ailments.

 

Gua Sha

One of many traditional Chinese medical treatment in which the skin is scraped to produce light bruising. Gua sha is another method that can facilitate the release of unhealthy elements from injured areas and stimulates blood flow and healing. Gua sha is sometimes referred to as "spooning" or "coining" by English speakers

 

Facial Rejuvenation

Whether it is called facial rejuvenation, acupuncture face-lift or cosmetic acupuncture, the aim is to tackle wrinkles, muscle tension that may be causing unsightly lines, as well as systematic issues standing between you and glowing skin. Just as with traditional needling, putting needles on acupuncture points stimulates the body’s natural energies, called qi, but with added benefits.

 

Moxibustion

Moxibustion is a form of heat therapy in which dried plant materials called "moxa" usually made from the dried leafy material of Chinese mugwort (Artemesia argyi or A.vlugaris) are burned on or very near the surface of the skin. The intention is to warm and invigorate the flow of Qi in the body and dispel certain pathogenic influences.

 

Electro-Acupuncture

Electroacupuncture is a form of acupuncture where a small electric current is passed between pairs of acupuncture needles. According to some acupuncturists, this practice augments the use of regular acupuncture, can restore health and well-being, and is particularly good for treating pain.

  • 10-Session Pack -- $850 ($85/session) with this package buyer receives two sessions free for a total of 12-session.**

  • Herbal and Dietary consultation (includes a prescription for an herbal formula or specific dietary program): 30 minutes - $65.00*

  • Detox Acupuncture Treatments (for quitting smoking, alcohol, caffeine, weight loss): 30 minutes - $65.00 or inquire about our package plan.

  • House-calls for hospice, labor, post-partum or surgical recovery, or for those who are unable to travel to us: $50.00 for up to 30-minute of travel (to and from location) or $100.00 for up to 60 minutes of travel.

 

*Herbal and Nutritional Supplements are NOT covered by insurance or third party payers and must be paid at the time of purchase.

**Payment of the prepayment plans will be taken in full on the day of purchase.  This only apply to regular acupuncture treatment does not include electroacupuncture treatments.

Auriculoacupuncture

Auriculotherapy, or auricular therapy, or ear acupuncture, or auriculoacupuncture is a form of alternative medicine based on the idea that the ear is a microsystem which reflects the entire body, represented on the auricle, the outer portion of the ear. Conditions affecting the physical, mental or emotional health of the patient are assumed to be treatable by stimulation of the surface of the ear exclusively.
